Moving through a course

Information about Navigating a module

Teachers will have organised your child's course into Modules. Think of a module as tabs in a binder. Each module will have learning materials and activities in an order that is best for learning that particular topic. Using the modules system will help us be more organised and also have some excellent resources to revise from.

Accessing and Viewing Modules

Select "Modules" from the Course Navigation on the left. You should see something that looks like this:

Understanding the Modules Index

1. You may notice in the modules list that you may not be able to open some items. Teachers may have chosen to lock items in one of the following ways:

Open at a certain date
A prerequisite must be completed first to open the content
Items have to be opened or completed in a certain order. The requirement will be listed in the module item title.
The module requirements that you have met are shown by a checkmark.

2. Each page in the module will have different icons that will allow us to easily identify what is the purpose of the page.

The icons are:
